VENDOR INFORMATION / GUIDELINESMarketplace Hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 2nd, 3rd and 4th from 10:00am to 7:00pm. Set up/load-in is Wednesday, 6/1/2022 from 10:00am – 4:00pm. All vendors are expected to be set up and open for business during the Marketplace hours of operation. No late arrivals and no early tear-down activities. 1. The application fee is $400 per space, due on May 2, 2022 along with completed application. Bank check or money order make payable to The Grand Ballroom Philadelphia and mail to PO Box 31907, Philadelphia, PA 19104. Major credit card payments in person at The Grand Ballroom Philadelphia, 3801 Market Street, 3rd floor, Philadelphia, PA, or PAYPAL online at www.grandballroomphiladelphia.com on or before Monday, May 2, 2022, 10:00am-4:00pm. 2.The Vendor Committee reserves the right to refuse any applicant due to limited space or undesirable and/or dangerous products or conduct. 3.If electricity is used, EXTENTION CORDS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE VENDOR. Additional fee applies for electrical. 4.Inside vendor's space is approximately 10’x10’. 5.No vendor may sell FOOD for consumption (packaged food OK (e.g., jams, honey), vendor is responsible for obtaining any required licensing/permits). 6.Vendors must unload at loading dock on Filbert Street at 38th Street at designated time on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Vendor vehicle may park in one of the nearby lots - LAZ Science Center, 39th Market street. Open 24 hours, Monday thru Friday. $18.00 before 9am, $24.00 after 9am. LAZ 225 N. 38th street, open 24 hours, Monday thru Friday. $18.00 before 9am $24.00 after 9am. All day Saturday $10.00. 7.Vendors are required to keep and to leave the Vendor space clean. Vendors may use the trash receptacles provided. 8.Raffles sponsored by individual vendors, are the sole responsibility of the Vendor to contact raffle winners for distribution of winnings. 9.Vendors are not to sell or use spray string, firearms of any sort, sharp-edged knives (pocket, hunting, daggers, etc.) or fireworks of any variety. This is a family friendly vendor event, please keep this in mind in your display design. *A non-transferable vendor permit will be issued to each paid vendor. This permit must be with the vendor stand when open for business.
By signing the below, the registrant acknowledges that in consideration of the acceptance of the right to participate, entrants, participants, and spectators release and hold harmless First District Self Help, Inc/The Grand Ballroom Philadelphia and The Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania and or affiliates thereof from any known or unknown damages, injuries, judgement, and/or claims from any cause whatsoever that may be suffered by any registrant to his or her person or property.
